Every home needs its heroes!

Your small village seems like a haven to you and your friends, but it is not safe. Capricious fae lurk in the forest just outside of town, villainous men and ferocious monsters threaten the peace, and sometimes dark forces find their way into your neighbours’ hearts. You and your companions are young and untested, but ready to protect what matters.

In this game you’ll play as one of a group of friends who have known each other since childhood, as they take on the challenge of defending their village and those they love against a rising threat. In the first part of the game, you’ll each pick a character playbook (such as “The Witch’s Prentice”, “The Heir to a Legend” or “The Nobleman’s Wild Daughter”) and using those and some dice rolls we’ll build the characters, the connections between the friends, the village and its locations. Then they’ll be launched into action as events unfold and your young adventurers come of age.

"Beyond the Wall and Other Adventures" is inspired by fantasy literature such as Ursula K. Le Guin’s Earthsea novels and Lloyd Alexander’s Chronicles of Prydain - stories about young heroes finding their way in dangerous situations.
